History

Lynne K. Tiras, CMP, President, formed IMM in 1986 after seven years as a Senior Program Coordinator for the Continuing Medical Education Department of Baylor College of Medicine. Lynne has more than twenty-nine years of experience in the meetings and management field. Lynne is a recognized leader in the industry, serving as a frequent writer for major trade publications and as a speaker at local, national, and international meetings. In addition, Lynne serves on various industry advisory boards.

At the outset, International Meeting Managers, Inc. specialized exclusively in managing and organizing events and meetings. In 1995, as a direct result of several clients’ requests, IMM expanded its services and initiated an array of association management services. IMM is a Certified Woman Owned Business.
